Syed Javaz is currently Chief Consultant Diabetologist at Diascope Polyclinic and Laboratory, Bangalore, India and Ex Medical Superintendent and Trustee at Bangalore Diabetes Hospital, Bangalore, India.

Dr Javaz obtained both his MBBS and MD from Bangalore Medical College and research institute Bangalore University, Bangalore, Did post graduation PGCDM From Indore India and also completed a postgraduate course as a Fellow in Diabetes care at the University of Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia.

Dr Javaz is passionate about diabetic treatment, care, research and education. As such, he is the Founder and Director of Diabetes Chemistry Research and Education Foundation, Bangalore, India, and Chief Patron of Karnataka Diabetic Foundation These organizations aim to spread diabetic health awareness.

The main fields of interest for Dr Javaz include diabetes, obesity and metabolic medicine and on these topics he has presented data at national conferences.

Dr Javaz has conducted various national diabetic conferences in India and has produced academic papers both in national and international levels he is the main principle investigator for the largest clinical trails in Asian countries for persist study and he has produced this study at American diabetic association, (ADA) European association for the study of diabetes (EASD) and international diabetes federation. Life member of RSSDI ( Resarch society for the study of diabetics in India. Founder Honorary secretary of RSSDI Karnataka chapter.
